Private beta agreement
Last updated: 8 July 2026
This is the agreement between you (the business creating the workspace, "you") and Straptory ("we"), operated by its founder in the United Kingdom; full trading details will be published here when entity registration completes. It takes effect on the date you create a Straptory workspace with a beta invite code, and you accept it as a click-through at signup. It is written in plain English on purpose - our design partners are small UK businesses, not legal teams.
1. What the beta is
Straptory is in a private beta. The software works and is tested, but it is early: features will change, and occasional bugs or downtime are possible. In exchange for free access, you accept that the service is provided "as is" during the beta, without uptime or support guarantees.
2. Free access and the lifetime price lock
- The beta is free - no card, no trial clock, for the whole beta period.
- If your workspace reaches the activation milestone (your own products imported and at least one purchase order created), you earn the design partner price lock: when public pricing launches, the monthly price of the plan you choose will never increase for you while your subscription remains active or is later reactivated. Changing plans keeps the lock; the lock applies to the launch price list in force when the beta ends.
- When the beta ends we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a conversion window to subscribe. If you choose not to subscribe, your workspace becomes read-only - your data is not deleted and you can export it at any time.
3. Your data
- Your inventory data belongs to you. We access it only to operate and improve the service and never sell it. The details are in our privacy policy.
- You can export your full workspace data at any time (Settings, then Export).
- During the beta we may look at aggregate usage (for example, which features are used) and contact you for feedback - that is the design-partner part of the deal.
4. Sensible limits
- Don't use the beta for anything unlawful, don't attempt to reach other tenants' data, and don't resell access.
- Straptory's liability during the free beta is limited to the amount you have paid us (that is, £0), to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.
- We may suspend a workspace that endangers the service or other tenants.
5. Feedback and logos
- Feedback you give us can be used to improve the product, without obligation.
- We will only use your company name or logo publicly with your permission - we will ask, and case studies are opt-in.
6. Ending and changes
- You can stop using the beta and delete your workspace at any time.
- We can end the beta program with the notice described in section 2. Material changes to this agreement will be notified by email.
- Governing law: England and Wales.
